Subera, Secretary-Treasurer The Student Council is composed of two rep- resentatives from each class and each organiza- tion who meet one noon hour a week. Mature independent thinking is encouraged. This form of student government prepares young people to become informed citizens. The Student Council helps decide who and what the students would prefer for lyceums. Dates selected by a class for social functions must come up before the Student Council. Magazine sales and the distribution of mixers are handled by these students. All will agree it is a worthwhile experience.

The foreign language program emphasizes the importance of self-directed, independent study in accomplish- ing the work of the course.
