A MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT: To do something once is an accomplishment. To repeat it, cmd to repeat it-and to do so successfully----is an achievement. For that reason we feel highly gratified at the appearance of this. the third issue of El Aquila. We are proud of the publication of the El Aquila. It is with a great sense of satisfaction that we have the opportunity to review again in picture and story of a year's work and play' i'-1 the Hillsboro High School campus. It is inevitable that our High School should be dynamic and progressive. Your attitude and school spirit has been demonstrated during the past nine months in many ways. Your behavior and high ideals form a sound basis for successful living and good citizenship. I take what I feel to be a justifiable pride in the success of the Hillsboro High School, and I am glad to take this opportunity to thank the principal, the teaching staff, and the students for their splendid cooperation. The school belongs to all of us and its future depends upon us all. This annual volume is a fine record of the past year's endeavors and achievements. Let us stand together-seeking the blessing of God upon our efforts-for the years that are to come. Most sincerely yours, A ' I 1. D. VVilson, supf.
