y F OREWORD In every phase of our life we have felt the critical situation of the present day in our fight for free- dom. We feel that the students of Hillsboro College and Senior High have gladly sacrificed certain elements in the 1944 EL GUIADOR in order to attain this goal. We have combined in our book everything connected with our school-teachers, clubs, classes, athletics, and favorites, We leave our book to serve as a lasting memory of these Wonderfully spent days in dear old H.I.C.
