f 5Z'fIVI X x I 'T 4920 J C: I j tx-r Perry Levereit Nell Chism PERRY LEVERETT Levli lf Music Be the Food of Love, Play On Gentle reader, meet the editor-in-chief. The main mystery about this youth is how he succeeds in keeping himself looking like an advertisement for the tailor. So far as I can find out, he has never been seen with a crease in his trousers any place but where it should be. He is a great little worker. has good business and school sense, and is very popular, I prophesy a happy future for him, including married life. NELL CHISM Nell is quite a little arguerer her- self. She and Joe Bailey and Horace Fort don't agree on anything. Also she is very much a student, a worker, and a beauty. She won highest honors for the girls this year. She is a wonder- ful declaimer, Add to that, that she is a perfect lady in the truest sense and you have a combination that just can't be beat. Horace Fort Kate McKinzie HORACE FORT Mike Horace is agood-natured, good-hearted boy whom everybody likes. He has a deep, far-carrying, oratorical voice, and when he speaks, you should see 'em sit up and take notice. Mankind! He's the best nigger actor that ever wuz. One of the people, who saw The Booster Club of Blackvillef' told him that blacked up he looked just like Crazy George-which I consider as a compliment. Horace has the native vigor, ability and stick- to-it-iveness necessary for success. KATE McKENZIE Everybody knows Kate. She is just the sort of person we all like, jolly, funny and cute. She has been dubbed The Gigglerf' but as this is her senior year, we won't offend her dignity by calling her that. Kate is a good student with an unusually bright mind and so grasps her studies easily. She is an energetic little being full of enthusiasm and fun with just stocks of friends who wish her luck.fH. C.
