CLASS HISTOPY Freshman Year In the year of our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-eight, forty-five 'Freshles' walked through the old doors of Hillman High, learning the new and awkward procedure. Many of the kids liked it while some d1dn't care at all and quit during the year. Our freshman initiation was the main event of this year. We looked 'silly' but it was a day we won't forget. Next we had our class elections. Our choice was for the following: President Marlon Bartowg Vice President Bert LaFlecheg Secretary Jean Chapmang Student Council Representative Richard Herrlckg Treasurer Arlene Foxy and Student Council officers: Secretary Jean Orm. In October the annual Carnival took place and ve picked Verla Fls e as our Queen and Lowell Elowsky as the King We orked hard with ou sponsor, Mrs Living We lost The freshman put on an essembly for the school which was a big hit Students lost during the year we e Wesley Eagle Delores Nickerson Evelyn rreyly Earnest Walling and Jack James Sophomore Yea?
