The year is 1959. just think! We've been out of school ten years. A lot of territory has certainly been covered. Wziyne Montague and Dick Winrlle are the referees for the game. Strange how Hilliards always seems to win when they referee the game. joan Krohn is principal of Hilliards, Louise Davis is the Home Economics ad- visor and jim Rice is the Coach. jim's wife, the former Lois Alder, is sitting with Betty and Pid Wiilker in the balcony, ready for the big game. Cordis Montgomery is here but Theresa just couldn't make it. Their three children keep them pretty busy. Peggy Brashear is making a picture in Hollywood, so she couldnt come tonight. Don Upperman is directing the movie and Branch Vencill is her press agent. Bob Barnett and Don Sheeders, those navy guys, are home on leave so they are at the game also. They joined the navy to see the world and Gnd themselves a girl. They saw the world but what about the girls? Nancy Growdon is at home studying tonight. She is a professor of Fine Arts at the Ohio State University. Carl Shambaugh is also teaching at the University. Tom Lamb is the man to see if you need your car washed in a hurry at Lamb's Service Station in Rome. Violet Salzgaber is teaching the first grade at Rome. They even managed to get their jobs close together. Margie Pendleton liked her job at the grade school so much that she is now em- ployed as Mr. Moore's private secretary. Homer Busick and joe Pumphrey are partners in the We'll Get You In The End Funeral Home. Carlene Hamilton is the one to see if you need a quick loan. She is the YES WOMAN at the Personal Finance Company. 4 Louigena Delewese is the owner of the Gloria Night Club. Virginia Vleldon and Betty Bandy are the hat check girls while Alva McFarland is the head waiter. They couldn't come to the game tonight as they had to be on hand to take care of the after game crowd. The former Frances Slone and her sailor husband, Bob Mayer, who is home on leave, are here cheering wildly for Hilliards. Helen Tillman, Pauline Spear, Gladys Prince, and Marian Goodyear are working in the Marshall Field Department Store in New York. They are strictly career girls. AS WE WERE l. Lois Alder ll. Susie Wliite Dorothy Taylor is Editor-in-Chief of the Hilliards Times., Marjorie Eiterman writes the love-lorn column and Julia Franchini is the society editor. Dick Wilcox is covering tonight's game for the Times. Wanda Reed is the one to see if you want your hair bleached. She is the owner of the Instant Beauty Salon. Betty Castorano is the manicurist. They worked so hard getting the girls ready to come to the game tonight, that they were too tired to come themselves. Norma Hackworh and Marianna Liggett have taken up the occupation of farmers' wives. They seem to be very happy in their new careers. Walter Hoffman is in Washington working very hard at his new job of Secretary of Agriculture. Blanche Pennington is also in Washington, taking Walter's dictation. Joe Voltz, James Moe and Gene Byers are inventing new types of farm machinery. Bob Edwards is the criminal lawyer you've been hearing so much about. I-le's in the balcony now, with his magnifying glass, hunting clues for his next case. Joan Hoff- man is his assistant and Susie White is his little blonde Secretary. Jean Hoffman is owner of the Red Bird's Baseball team. Bob Wilder is the pitcher and Geno Moro has become a professional golfer. Betty Whightsel is a cartoonist for Walt Disney and Shirley Schatz is designing costumes for MGM. Jackie Rhoades and Pat Sheets, now Mr. and Mrs., are working on interior decorat- ing. Jackie has the ideas and Pat does the work. Norma Matthews is an intern at White Cross Hospital in Hilliards and Joan Love is her head nurse. Jean Early and Catherine Vaughn are the dieticians and Ted Salzbury is the head janitor. John Landis and Jerry McDowell own their own garage and are quite expert in their field. If your car doesn't run too well, take it to them and they'll see to it that it doesn't run at all. Delores Sherwood owns her own bookstore and Nancy Ford is conducting speech classes for those who don't have that Bostonian Touch. Paul Armstrong is the general practitioner in Hilliards and Phyllis is his office IIUISC. Carol Kemper is a speedy typist for Lazarus and Ivy Spencer is selling ladies ready to wear on the third floor. ' Mary Bellisari is now Mrs. Johnston and is living in a cute little three-room apart- ment while Joann Holland is teaching their children in grade school. Joann Rings has also become a farmer's wife but Jean Toy and Margaret Gemein- hardt are still looking for their certain someone. In their spare time they have office jobs at the Farm Bureau. They also came to the game tonight to cheer for Hilliards. Oh, yes. We won the game.
