Those handsome Navy guys, Bob Miller and Lee CHula Hipsj Hoffman have just returned from the Hawaiian Islands. When they went through the Golden Gate they saw jim Dougherty perched atop a Hag pole trying to sell a new brand of axle grease made by Louie Schiederer. Carolyn Hansen and Dorothy Kuhlwein are old maids in the poor house , Calthough I've heard it said that Carolyn was carrying a torch for Gerald Alspaugh at one time? and Laurence Eiterman is taking reducing lessons at The Power House owned and operated by Bob Mayer. The last time I saw Charlie CAtlasJ Avery he was trying to swim the English Channel as fast as Dick Veths version of the jet-propelled plane could fly across. Bill Lawn has his own Swing Band now, The Riverside Rattlersf' Beverly Wright plays hrst sax while Charles Fritsche beats the skins. Nancy Keller handles the vocals. Mary Ann Giehl and Carolyn Weber are still taking lessons in cooking. I guess they still have high hopes Cof learning to cookj. They said Don Leppert was taking them too cause he was disgusted with the women's cooking. The last time I saw Charlene and Charlotte Kaltenbach they were leading yells for the Phogbound U. football team coached by Dick Mayer. The contractor doing the work was jim Frazzine and the person operating his big steam shovel is none other than Glenn Sagraves. jack Price is the fast talking lawyer who is taking New York apart and Gene Johnston is a prosecuting attorney who really believes in just that. Lois Van Schoik and Virginia Emrich are working at the Sixteenth National Bank as tellers and Emma De Santo, Ethelene Sagraves, and Delores Holcomb have their own ice cream parlor, the Buy More, Sweet Store. Peggy Binns, that typing speed demon, is teaching her typing students her famous peck a minute technique. I understand that Charles Holland is the principal of the high school and Buck Walker is the Phys. Ed. teacher at that place. I hear that Harry Weisenberger has turned professional golfer. He is conducting a beginners class for blondes only. Gene Fisher, Phil Wright, and john Emmelhainz, are working on W.P.A. meaning We Pull Anything. I understand they have developed a tractor that is second only to Hercules himself. Nan Alder is secretary of the concern. johnny Latham went out West and started Latham's Lazy U. the biggest wolf ranch in the U.S. Speaking of the West, Earl Smith is a prospering Reno lawyer. His motto is Twenty-five bucks and you're out of the ruts. Marion Johnson is his recording secre- tary. Connie Vance, Audrey jividen, and Anna Belle Gease went to Hollywood to be in the Ziegfield Follies but they ended up in New York modeling fur coats in the trollies. Martha Hickmam and Erlene Evans are writing the Love and Learn colunm in the Miami Beach Dispatch. jo Ann Garnett and Lucille Grimm work for the same paper, jo Ann as society editor and Lucille as a cartoonist. Dave Geyer and Charles Link have gone into partnership on a ranch in Vermont. Their specialties are Linkburgers and Geyer's Goat Milk. Eldon Sager is doing their cooking for them. Frances Jewett and Pauline McCall are bookkeepers for Local 119 of the Railroad Brotherhood. - Doris Ramey and Verna Carey have started the' New Look Beauty Salon a neat little shoppe that features pig-tails. To the Freshmen we leave our ability to learn so that some day, they too, may be outstanding seniors. To the Sophomores we leave our love for classes, our rubber bands, and our chew- ing gum balls and paper wads, which have helped us through these inclining years. To the Juniors only, we leave our customary seats in the balcony and a challenge to any underclassmen to deprive them of these.
