The staff, composed of journalism students, work hard to write news stories, accounts of sports and features. The English Department and individuals submit themes, poe- try, and art to be used in the TREASURE CHEST. With a literary magazine, the students have a opportunity to develop and use their literary and artistic talents. With her leg in a cast, Mrs. Worthington gleefully discovers that she will miss a few days from school. Sophomore reporters stay busy hunting news.
