BAND BOOSTS SCHOOL SPIRIT Band officers are, FIRST ROW: Sherry Knight, Heporter, Linda Haynes, 2nd Lieutenant, Vicki Bruce, lst Lieutenant, Shirley Greer, Drum Majorette, jerry Bridwell, Captain, Ronnie Knight, Student Band Director, and Nancy Phillips, 2nd Division Ser- geant. SECOND ROW: Jean Clyde, 2nd Lieutenant, Iohn Tum- blin, Dean of Boys, Mike Nelson, lst Sergeant, Henry Weathers, lst Division Sergeant, Sandra Stribling, Chaplain, Rosemary NVhitmire, Librarian, Marilyn Moore, Librarian. Under the leadership of Mr. Dan Allen, Band Direc- tor, the band performed at football half-time activities, in parades, at student assemblies, at pep meetings, in the Greer Peach Festival, and plan to give a band concert. CHORUS DEVELOPS MUSIC APPRECIATION The mixed chorus is sponsored by Miss Elizabeth Bolt. The choral group performs all year in many activities.
