EIGHTH GRADE 146 The youngest class at Hillcrest, the eighth ade, has become an active part of the school. Facing Zur more years of work here, the eighth-graders lan to make their stay as profitable and enjoyable as icy can. This year they have also contributed much to the rest of the school through choral programs and skits. They are well on their way to becoming the leaders of Hillcrest. Everything is apparently all smiles for home- room presidents Berry Garrett and jackie West. Marjorie Io, Sally, and Pat prepare to decorate the bulletin board for St. Va.lentine's Day. Sheila Harris and ,Jeff Jones play the leading roles in the Thanksgiving skit or the student body. N I

Other presidents, Keith Ballew, Pete Chandler, and Bubba Axson, make use of reference materials in the library. The largest class at Hillcrest, the Freshmen have made their impact on the school and the community. They have participated actively in all phases of school life-classroom discussions, athletic activities, and clubs. The Freshmen have also taken part in choral presenta- tions, assembly programs, and the Talent Show. On Senior Court are presidents Caroline Leeke, Cathy Bishop, and Richard Bobo.
