Members of both chapters devoted much time and effort toward making the Rat Eradication Gampaignv a success. Posters advertisin the campaign were placed in many areas of the school, and pamphlets were distributed to all students. The chapters also held a green-hand ceremony during which freshmen F .F.A.'ers were formally accepted as members of the organization. Chapter farmer degrees were also presented at this ceremony to the third year boys who did outstanding farm projects and who had passed the necessary qualifications for the chapter farmer degree.
