L' MIKE LEY, voted Most Depend- able by the senior class, has been vice-president of the student body, a homeroom president, a student council representative, and Beta Club vice-president. Mike enjoys hunting and fishing. He plans to attend the University of South Carolina. VVHIT LIVINGSTON, an appointee to the U.S. Naval Academy, is pho- tography Editor of the HILLTOP- PER and the HILLCREST HIGH- LIGHTS. He has served on the Stu- dent Council and as President of Dist. IV S.C. Scholastic Press Association. NVhit is a member of the Science Club, Beta Club, and the Music Club. RANDY JONES, Beta Club president and student council representative, is active in the French Club and the senior class. Randy was chosen Most Intellectual , junior Rotarian, junior Marshal, and Furman Scholar during his junior and senior years. He plans to attend VVake Forest College or Fumian. CATHY RIDGEXVAY. a Furman Scholar and junior Marshal, is a member of the Beta Club. Science Club, and French Club, She served as a basketball Cheerleader, and Sec- retary of the Science Club her inn- ior year. She is the winner of the Betty Crocker Homemakers award. Cathy plans to attend Agnes Scott College. DALE REEVES, a winner of the Thom NlcAn Leadership award and Feature Editor of the HILLCREST HIGHLIGHTS, has been a cheer- leader and a member of the Beta Club, Science Club, F.T.A., F.H.A.. French Club, and Block H Club. Reading and creative writing are her hobbies. She plans to attend Agnes Scott College, ALAN PARSONS, a Junior Marshal, a junior Rotarian, and a Furman Scholar, plans to attend Presbyterian College. He participates in gof and enjoys playing bridge. Alan is a senior member of the Beta Club, French Club, and Block H Club.

E tg LAVVRENCE BLAKELY, the Senior Class President, has also been a jun- ior Rotarian, a member of the Con- ference All-Star Team in football, and a winner of the Trophy Award. He is a member of the Science Club, French Club, Block H Club, and played football, baseball, and track. He plans to attend the Citadel. Students in the Hall of Fome ore selected on scholarship, contributions to the school, conduct ond ottitucle. GYVEN THOMASON, Editor Of the HILLCREST HIGHLIGHTS, is an active member of the Beta Club. A junior Marshal, she was also lastf year's Mi:-B Hi Miss . Gwen won 2nd place in math at the Regional Science Fair and was elected Most Intellectual by the senior class. Gwen pla.ns to continue her education at the University of South Carolina. BUDDY LONG, King Teen of 1964, has also been a junior Rotarian. He is a member of the Beta Club, Sci- ence Club, and the Block H Club. Buddy enjoys sports and has been very active in baseball, football, bas- ketball, and track. VVofford is the cggege Buddy plans to attend this f . VIRGINIA EDXVARDS, winner of the D.A.R. Citizenship medal, has held the offices of Secretary-treasun er of the Student Body, Pres. of the Ir. F.H.A., Co-Editor of Activities and Publications section in the an- nual, and News Editor on the news- paper staff. She will continue her ed- ucation at Columbia College.

DAVID VVOODS, Ir., has taken an active interest in the Beta Club, the Bus Driveris Club, and the F.F.A He was one of last year's Iunior Mar- shals and has been Vice-President of F.F.A. He enjoys mechanics, fishing, and swimming in his spare time. Da- vid plans to attend Clemson College. PHYLLIS RIDDLE. assistant head cheerleader, has also been treasurer of the Block H Club and a member of the Music Club. F.T.A., French Club, and Mixed Chorus. At a former school. East Hendersonville High. she was a member of the F.H.A., the Pep Club, and the Student Coun- cil. Phyllis plans to attend Anderson College. KEITH MAYFIELD, a Junior Mar- shal, attended Boys' State in 1963. His hobbies are fishing, hunting. and playing the piano. He plans to attend Clemson College this fall. Keith is a member of the Beta Club and the French Club. IIMMY MARLER was a Boys' State representative in 1963. He is a mem- ber of the Beta Club and the A.V.A. Club. Hunting and most water sports are jimmy's main hobbies. He looks forward to attending Clemson Col- ege. DICKIE GARRETT. President of the Xlusic Club and the French Club. also takes part in the F.H.A., the F.T.A.. and the Beta Club. She en- ioys art. sewing. and writing. and uses her singing talent in school cho- rus programs. Dickie plans to attend Georgia Southwestem University. XVAYNE HOXVELL, a Iunior Mar- shal, has been a member of the Beta Club. and the Hillcrest Band. He has also been president of his homeroom. Hunting and swimming are his main hobbies. VVa5aie plans to attend North Greenville Iunior College. GILBERT LIBBY. IR.. has partici- pated in the Beta Club. the Science Club. the Library Club. A.V.A.. and the French Club. He has won first place in mathematics at the Furman Science Fair and has won several other medals in science. Gilbert enioys hunting. art. camping, and skin div- ing. Gilbert plans to attend Georgia Tech.
