f em.. . M... I Hillcrest - 13 Byrnes - 25 Plagued by injuries the little Rams fought hard in their second encounter with the Byrnes little Rebels. But their efforts were in vain as the Byrnes team took a 13-25 win. Ray XVilson ran well for the Rams on of- fense, and David King. Lewis Black- well, and Tommy Lucas played well on defense. Hillcrest -18 Carolina - 3 To the surprise of every one except the Hillcrest I.V.'s the little Rams picked up their third straight victory. Gary Sutton pitched two TDs to Grady Hart, and Ray Ylfilson added another to lead the Rams offense. Lewis Blackwell. David King, and Marvin Foster led the defense. crest - 12 Carolina - As luck would have it the Rams lost a heart-breaker to Carolina in the closing minutes of play. The Rams were on the Carolina one yard line first in ten, as a penalty and time took the winning TD from the Rams. Ray Wilson, Pink Kellett, and Henry Chas- tain played well on offense for the Rams, and Tommy Lucas, Lewis Blackwell, and David King led the defense. Final score: 12-14. Hillcrest- 7 Parker - 13 Playing their last game of the sea- son the I.V. team faced a strong Par- ker team as they lost 7-13. Playing well on defense for the Rams were Frank Garrison, David King, Tommy Lucas, and Lewis Blackwell.

Hillcrest- O Greer - AO The Junior Varsity traveled to Greer only to be turned back by a much stronger and more powerful team. Ray XVilson and Gary Sutton ran well for the Rams but could not overcome the powerful jackets. Final score 0-40. Hillcrest - 34 Blue Ridge The little Rams added a third vic- tory to their list as they romped over Blue Ridge 34-6. Ray XVilson, Pink Kellett and Gary Sutton sparked the Rams offense while Lewis Blackwell and Tom Norris led the defense. ' crest- lA Byrnes - In the first game of the season the Junior Varsitys defense held the Byrnes team to take their first win 14-0. In the first quarter Pink Kellett scored the first Ramis TD and in the third quarter Ray VVilsou tallied for the second TD. Hillcrest- 20 Porlcer -O Picking up their second win of the season in three games the I.V. team downed Parker 20-0. Ray XVilson ac- counted for 14 points while Cary Sut- ton for another six to lead the Rams on offense. Defense standouts were Lewis Blackwell. David King, and Tom Norris.
