Distributive Education Club Opens The D.E.C.A. Shop Distributivc Education Club members are, FRONT ROXV, LEFT TO RIGHT: Carolyn Robertson, Jeanette Butler, Nancy Bullock, Donna Garrison, Benny Maxwell, Henry VVright, Jimmy Rice, Steve Jacobs, Elaine Cooper, Conrad Painter, and Jim Rumsey. SECOND ROW: Sandra Kellett, Patsy Johnson, David Page, Buddy Perry, DeVVayne Rice, Clyde Hipps, Keith Laws, Raymond This year the Distributive Education Club opened a school store, The D.E.C.A. Shop, located next to the D.E. room. The shop, operated exclusively as a D.E. project, offers to the student such materials as paper, notebooks, and 'pencils The main project of the D.E. Club was a survey of the Hillcrest graduates of 1963. The club also cooperated with all D.E. Clubs in Greenville County on a project on Creative Marketing. In January, D.E. members in- Brashier, Joe Houser, Johnny McCall, and Tommy Burden, THIRD ROVV: Tommy Wham, Cleve Robertson, Raymond Fowler, Charles Griffith, Larry Mahaffey, Jimmy Horton, Van Cook, Billy Bayne, James Ray Fowler, Darroh Davenport, and David Williams. FOURTH ROVV: Mary Carter, Grace Collins, and Jimmy VVilliams. vited the junior and senior classes to hear Mr. C. Rudy Jones, an area merchant, speak on Credit.', Also in- cluded in this program were several talent numbers pre- sented by D.E. members. Distrihutive Education Club members and their dates enjoyeda Christmas dinner party held at Harvey's Restaurant on the Easley Highway.
