SECOND ROW: Jerry Baughman, Henry Melton, Earl jones, Floyd Cousins, Lloyd Cousins, Ierry Morrow. The cindermen of Hillcrest this year fielded one of the stronger track teams that the school has had. Displaying speed in the dashes, strength in field events, and endurance on distance runs, the team carried to a good record. Standouts were: Edwin Long in field events, Tommy Saye and Harry Sprouse on short dashes, and Wilson Ienkins on the 440, and Earl jones on the 880 yard dash.
