As The Board becomes aware oT The Tremendous growTh oT TheVciTy, iT plans a Tacile educaTional program To deTermine The TuTure needs OT sTudenTs. ln recogniTion oT some oT The needs This year, The Board added To The TaciliTies OT The newly annexed PleasanT View Junior l-ligh School: consTrucTed a swimming pool To sTrengThen The aThleTic curriculum: approved new guidelines Tor dress suggesTed by represenTaTives Trom The schools, and added a moThers' volunTeer group Tor The elemen- Tary schools. The SpringTield Board is consTanTly aware ThaT This is a changing world in Technology, culTure, and poliTics. and young people are in a sTaTe oT quesTioning values and sTandards oT living. These conse- craTed members adiusT The educaTional program To meeT These changes.
