CHRISTO YIVERE The Most Reverend Leo Binz, Archbishop of Saint Paul, was appointed to his present post in December of l96l and was installed in the following February. He is a native of Stockton, Illinois, and received his formal education in the United States and in Rome at the North American College. He is the former Archbishop of Dubuque, Iowa, and has also served as a pastor in several parishes of his native state, Illinois. Since his appointment to St. Paul, a new children's orphanage has been opened in the city of Minneapolis. He has strongly encouraged the participation by the faithful at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and has given support to the Lay Apostolate. In the past year, he has brought in Gerhard Lang, former director of the Vienna Boys' Choir, to direct the new Cathedral Choir, a significant addi- tion to the Archdiocese. With the advent of the new ecumenical movement, the people in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul can be most proud and confident to have such a fine spiritual leader as The Most Reverend Archbishop Leo Binz. 5

EDICATION BROTHER J. FELIX. F.9.C. DIRECTOR 8: PRINCIPAL Brother J. Felix, F.S.C ., the Director and Principal of Hill High School since its founding in 1958, was born in Chicago, Illinois. In l923, he became a fol- lower of St. john Baptist De La Salle as a Christian Brother. In past years, he has been stationed in Glencoe, Missouri, Canada, and St. Louis, Missouri. He studied at the Second Novitiate in the Motherhouse of the Brothers in Rome. For a number of years, he was recruitor for the St. Louis Province. Under the leadership of Brother Felix, Hill High School has been transformed from an idea into a fine educational institution. His policy of personal relation- ship with all Hill students provides a comfortable atmosphere between the stu- dent and the administration. It is his hope that Hill High School will become outstanding in all fields of endeavor. It is to him, therefore, that the Class of 1964 proudly dedicates this book. 4

ADMINISTRATION BROTHER l. VINCENT, F.S.C 6 Brother Vincent is Sub-Director of the Brothers and Assistant Principal of the school. He fulfills the office of Dean of Discipline and teaches Biology to Sophomores.
