Board Of Regents Hill's Board of Regents provides the college with dedicated, farsighted decision-making and plan- ning. Each member, elected by one of the six areas that make up the Hill Iunior College District, serves without pay in setting the goals and guidelines that have helped to shape the college on the hill. 1977 saw many changes for I-lill, including the up-dating of the Registrar's Office with com- puter programs and processing, completion of a new water system, renovation and expansion of bookstore-cafeteria facilities, modernization of the college farm with new equipment and materi- als, and the planning of new dormitories. Mid-year was marked by the retirement of Pat Whittaker, current President of the Board, who was succeeded in office by Wallace Lavender. I.K. Lane joined the board as representative for Hillsboro. 1977 Board of Regents: fLeft to Rightl I.K.
