Besides the many appearances at area schools and clubs, the Choir, Ensemble, and Bands pro- vided entertainment at Fort Polk, Loui- siana and the State Fair of Texas. The highlight of the year for many club members was a trip to New Orleans where once again they mixed work with pleasure while they combined concerts with sight-seeing in the histo- ric old city. Combining their knowl- edge of music with their ability to en- tertainnmembers of Sigma Phi Omega act as musical ambassadors for Hill Iu- nior College. 45

Hill's music fraternity, Sigma Phi Omega, is not only one of the most active clubs on campus, but one of the most en- tertaining as well. Composed of members from the Choir, Ensemble, and college bands, the club is always in demand for a- concerts.
