Under the leadership of President Ioe Welsh, the Student Congress proved to be one of the most active clubs on campus. Working to serve the students as well as the school, Congress mem- bers came up with many varied types of enter- tainment. Some of the events included movie nights, dances, the annual Hallowe'en hayride and spookhouse, the traditional Western Day bar- becue, and the finale to a year of hard work, Spring Fling '77. Student Congress was also re- sponsible for the intramural program offering students and clubs a chance to compete in bas- ketball, volleyball or flag football.
