Thus the roll call for each meeting must be answered with a name in the news and some ex- planatory fact about them. The programs have been in the form of discussions and quizzes about national affairs. The Forum sponsored a Time Magazine Test for College Freshmen. The purpose of the con- test Was to find out how attentively the average student is keeping up with the day's history-making news. The contest was won by Cecil Iohnson, Freshman. Although TIME did not offer a prize to Sophomores, President Hartsfield, feeling that they, too, would benefit by participation, presented a book to the sophomore, Lila Bess Smith, making the highest score.
