In their room they have a small post office that they may send letters to one another and to their teacher Ms. Greenfield. They are also busy with their worms. They are book markers, to get your worm to grow you read a book and you get another section on the worm. The first year in junior high brought about many changes in the seventh graders. It was their first year for lockers, tardy bells and team sports. They began to feel like one of the older kids. Mrs. Stahl and Mrs. Shrank are the seventh grade advisors. Doug Sie- monsma-presidentg Eric Lewis- vice-president, Jessica Saunders- secretary and Helen Sawyer- trea- surer, helped their advisors plan the activities for the year. Each nine weeks the students' schedule changed, fitting in a wide variety of classes. These classes in- cluded: math, science, English, so- cial studies, home ec., shop, key- board, guidance, band and choir. The last two periods of the day were reserved for sports. The boys played football, basketball and track, while the girls participated in basketball, volleyball and track.
