W l . l , YV' t f ,fir Kindergarten Takes On A ew Routine Because of the large class size, the Kindergarten class was divided into two sections. The groups attended class all day every other day. The two sections were seventeen and fourteen in number. Mrs. Jobman taught all year long, rather than just the last semester. So, there was something new for her too this year. Every child in Kindergarten class was very busy this year. In this first year of school there were many things to learn. The class completed Getting Ready To Read, the first pre- reading skills book. The science and social studies activities helped the students understand the world around them. In math, they learned about shapes, numbers, and counting objects in a set. All of the students are eager to start first grade.
