Amanda Engstrom also guided the students through many concerts Students learned about tone production sight reading and the use of sol fa In addition to their many concerts the choir participated in the Southern Hills Music Festival and the High Plains Festival at Chadron State College Mrs. Engstrom and her husband Gordon Engstrom will move on next year and go back to college She will be working on her master s degree in 'Musical training is a more potent instrument than any other, because rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul. 'HIGH SCHOOL' Students learn of past events and lives History teaches us that what has happened in the past will shape the future more than historians may have thought. Students in World History learned about why the United States became involved in World War I and World War II and why the causes of those wars have lead the US into other conflicts since. Drivers Education students learned what was the correct way to drive a vehicle on the highway and in the city.
