As we were falling behind, S... The lVliss Sweet Thing contest, put on by the Student Senate, was held in the new gym. The winner was chosen by a count of money where a penny was one vote. Senior, Allen Fifi Gorman, escorted by Dennis Van Horn, won by a landslide. The other contestants were: Junior--Jeff Larson, Dean Wilson escort, Sophomore-- Doug lVladill escorted by Ricky lVletz, Freshman--Ed lVladill, Brad Wickware, escort, 8th grade--Scott Fisher, escort Kendall Yargus, 7th grade-- lVlike lVlatush escorted by Sam Wickware. -'C from Rapid City, play against anyone KKLS Jocks Vg, Nlark lVlattson jumped in to give a hand, but to no avail. KKLS won, 40 to 35 . Halftime entertainment ' ix was put on by the Jockettes, our own basketball boys. They did an arousing routine to You lVlake it Hard to Say No by Bozz Scaggs. Reflections 1975 The 1975 Sweetheart's Ball, put on annually by the Sophomore class, went to the theme of Reflections, Slate Creek, a 3-piece band, supplied music for the evening . Sophomores Donna Pendleton and Senior Fabian Carrasco reigned as Sweethearts of the school. Over 100 people attended the dance from 8:00 to 12:00. Carl Clements boogies down.
