One being to out do anything and everything that has been done by former classes. Many nights were spent in Maxf fields garage as we tried to create a master piece that would stand out as the float of floats for H,C, H, S, 's homecoming, but it didn't. The first dance we sponsored went over very good, but as much cannot be said for the second dance. It seemed that all of our sponsors were detained elsewhere, thus we were forbidden to have any more dances the rest of the year. We ordered 288 cans of candy, which the people in the surrounding area so graciously bought, only to find them half full of paper. But only the shrewdest succeed. We ended our exciting year as freshmen with a riotous picnic at Horse Thief Lake.
