CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1941 twenty little girls and boys set out on their twelve year career from Hill City School. Shirley Peabody and Kenneth Coffield are the only members to complete the twelve year course in Hill City although Delores Crisman also started here. Miss Addison was 'director' during the first year. The class remained the same througlout the second year the only change being Uoody as instructor. Mrs. Mitchell was our teacher in the In the fourth grade Miss Calhoun was Marlene Barr from Belvidere this year. During our fifth, sixth, and seventh the same. Mrs. Caldwell, Mrs. Selix, Mrs 'directors' for these three years. In the eighth grade we were rejoined Miss third grade. our new educator. We were joined by grades the members in our class remained Nelson, and Mrs. Morehouse were our by Belores Crisman from Deerfield. Mrs. Esmay helped us in the precarious eighth grade days. Marva Dimpson from Slate Creek and Peggy Cook from Redfern joined our number as freshmen. Mrs. Simpson was our freshman class sponsor. As Sophmores we were joined by Alta Ann 'Midge' Nussbaum from Lander, Wyoming, Marcene Paseka from Pierre. Marlene Barr moved to Montana this year. Class SPUHSOP during the tenth year was Mr. Koontz. Shirley Schoenhard from Rapid City, Lois Gowan from Hot Springs entered Hill City High this year and Marlene Barr returned to our class from class sponsor was Mr. Jelsema. Ca1ifornia,joined us this aid during our last year. The twelve of us who to express our thanks and We sincerely hope that we appreciation to Keith Johnson from River Grove, Illinois and Peggy Metcalf year. Mrs. Allen, our senior sponsor are graduating from the twelveth year Montana.
