t is the evening of May 20, 1962. Mr. Burden is spending' ea quiet evening at home with his wife and seven children whenf suddenly there is a loud knock at the door. Mr. Burden rises -from hlis easy chair, wondering who it could be. That's right, Coach, it's Frank-better known as Bud -Simpson, now a lawyer in Chicago.. Bud announces that aside from his law practice, he' is running for governor, and while he and Coach Burden -are dis- cussing Bud's wife and eight kids, Robert CBobJ Johnson arrives, announcing that he is now coaching at the University of Minne- sota. 'While the two coaches and the ,great lawyer are talking over old times, Beverly McKenzie and Elaine Horst appear upon the scene. Beverly has reached her goal-she is the first woman President-and Elaine is now married and living in Washington, D.C., where she is a laboratory techrtikgan. -Next to arrive is' Janice Rabe-now Mrs. Ralph Woods. She just flew in from New York where she is a model in the Paris Fashion House. Next to enter, is none other than Major Rodney Alexander, an ace jet pilot. Fol-l lowing Rodney, Mr. Burden welcomes Doris Caswell, the State Auditor of South Dakota. Everyone is talking over old times at H.C.H.S. and what they have been doing the past ten years, when Robert Waddingtoii, vice presidentwof General Motors, arrives. Ruth DeNeui and Irene Goodart, both of whom are married, are the nert members of the Class of' 52 to arrive. Ruth is teaching school at Pierre and Irene' is art editor of McCall's magazine.. Well. Well. Well. If it isn't Earl CPopeyeJ Harris and Gene Alberyj llmmm. Another lawyer in the Class of '52, Gene has a very successful law practice in San Francisco. Popeye, the kid who didn't want to godto college, is now a doctor at the Mayo Clinic. Well, here's Richard Waldner,5 but his wife and five children aren't with him. Richard is vnowifa colonel in the Air Force. Last, but not least, to arrive is Tat Belk mont, to make this reunion of the Class of '52 -comlpleter,fShe is fa' very successful color artist with the 0'Neil Studios in Nebraska-.
