Well it is other than Jean and Janice Canfield. Arsene Martin and Jack Anderson have got a patent on their latest invent- the plastic corn remover. Seems that Bill Stewart is coaching one of the best basketball teams Georgia Tech has ever had. Connie Mitchell is still working in a hospital over in Africa. Bet you can't guess who the doctor is. Yes, its Lester Herbert. Raymond Branaugh joined the Navy and , found a cute little Hawaiian girl. He is now married to her. Our first homecoming was held this year, October 51. On the night of the 50th we held what was called the burning of the H. This was a very beautiful and colorful event which was attended by over SOO students and adults. . On Friday we held the parade which was over a block long. The floats ln- lncluded Class Floats, Homecoming Queen and attendants float and some business men also entered floats or cars. After the parade there was a foot- ball game between Harrlson, Nebraska and Hill City Rangers. Despite a long hard struggle the Rangers were defeated. During the half Dianne Clines was crowned Home Coming Queen by the captain of the game. The Queens attendants were Beverly Bradford, Janice Canfield, Ilene Cox, and Sally Caldwell. To top the events of the previous two days a Holloween Carnival was held that night. Wpa'g ,dlTLffgQTM ' A , e- iw eff, . Q + V fi? fe- '- .
