He Greyhounds automatically qualified for the playoffs by winning the NSCC D-2 Divisioo Qranpionship. He Hounds were led by sir seniors whose dream was to qualify for the playoi. The highlight of the season was a 60-58 win in a thriller over Giltncr in which 5 playoff records were broken, and one was tied. Eight of the team members received honors. Troy Space was named First Team NSCC Running Back and Line Backer, First Team Kearney Huh All-Area Running Back, First Team Hastings Tnhune-Tnheland Class Running Back, Honorable Mention Omaha World Herald Class D-2 All-State Running Back, Honorable Mention Lincoln Star Gass D-2 All-Stale Running Back, Kearney Hub Player of the Week, and Hastings Tribune Player of the Week. Mike Dorn was named FirslTeam NSCC Quarter Back. Brent Nelson was named Honorable Mention NSCC Ruining Back. Scott Schwartz was named Honorable Mention NSCC End, and Honorable Mention NSCC line Backer. David Foerst was named Honorable Mention NSCC Center. Brad Fuerst was named First Team NSCC Guard, Honorable Mention NSCC Line Backer, Second Team Kearney Hub All-Area Guard, First Team Hastings Tribune-TribelandOass D Guard, Honorable Mention Omaha Wcdd-Herald Gass D-2 All-State Gurrd, and Honorable Mention Lincoln Star Gass D-2 All-Stale Guard Russ Urgent was named First Team NSCC Safety, First Team NSCC Punier, Honorable Mention Kearney Hub All-Area Punter, and First Team Hastings Tribune-Tribeland Punter and Associated Press Honorable Mention Safety and Punter. Brad Quadhamer was named First Team NSCC Defensive End.

Following the The crowning was held x the football field after the Scott Schwartz and Leann Johnson. danced to the music of Sounds Unlimited in the Multi-Purpose Room The room was decoriedin purple and lavander by the Pep Club. The theme for this year's included the following: Monday: 'Generic Day'; Tuesday 'Sweetheart Day'; Wednesday: 'Halloween Costume Day'; Thnsday: Dress Up Day'; and Friday: ’Spirit Day'. A pep rally was held x main street, Friday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. Severi prizes were also awarded Best dressed student awards were presented to Dan Benz and Leann Johnson. Pater winners were: first place: Sophomores, second place: Freshmen, and third place: Eighth grade.
