PROM 1981 THE JUNIOR CLASS of HILDRETH HIGH SCHOOL presents Janlasy X land Music by MIDWEST AUDIO Saturday evening April eleventh Nineteen hundred and eighty-one The Juniors were very busy preparing for the big night all during the year, deciding on the theme, colors, food, servers, and the guest speaker. The theme for this years Junior-Senior Prom was Fantasy Island ; the gym was decorated in blue, yellow, pink, and green. The servers, Diane Casper, Julie Greening, Lori Schmidt, Dave Halbert, Mike Miller, and Lynn Harms, were appropriately dressed in flowered dresses and shirts to fit the theme. For dinner the Junior mothers prepared barbecued pork, green beans, scallop potatoes, tossed salad, and hot rolls. After the delicious dinner we had pineapple upside down cake to top it off. Following the dinner, Jeff Quinn, the guest speaker, talked about setting and obtaining goals. Then Shawn and Marilyn read the class prophe- cies and wills, which everyone enjoyed. After the banquet, the dance followed, music provided by Midwest Audio. Everyone seemed to have a super time and considered the prom a great success! 28
