SWING CHOIR 1980 was an extremely fine year for the Chorus department of Hildreth High. They put on a couple of performances for the people of the town and around the area. One was at Christmas time and the other was in the Spring. The chorus was awarded a Superior rating at the district contest in Minden. A job well done by the kids in chorus. Swing Choir put on several performances, the latest was in June, when they entertained at the Alumni Banquet. They received an excellent rating at the district contest. Two soloists and one small group received superior ratings at Districts also. Nancy Johnson and Dana Bunger received the rating for their solos while the Triple Trio was the small group that received a superior. Nancy also received a superior for her piano solo. All the people involved in chorus, small groups, and solos should be congratulated for their hard work and odd hours!
