CLASS PROPHESY It is now the year 1989 ten years after the class of 1979 has graduated. They are gathering at Kansas City to take a sneak trip to Worlds of Fun, which they never could afford in High School. Arrangements for this trip were made by the four senior class officers, Lori, Kim, Karen, and Mary. First to arrive is Karen Schmidt who is ten minutes early because her father has grounded her again and for the first time wants to be home at 4:00 a.m., two hours earlier than usual. Karen is still on the loose for that Mr. Right. Karen has spotted Kim Einspahr driving up in her orange Vega, at a second glance Karen notices Kim is not driving but pushing her car. Kim explains she has decided to put an end to her acting career, so she can settle down with her tall blonde husband and raise a family. Next to arrive is Lori Kersenbrock who is now employed as a Grade School teacher in Colorado. Lori's dark haired husband is now the owner at Firestone Inc. Our class treasurer Mary Casper is the next to arrive all tanned by being a lifegard in California when she is not teaching the third grade. She speaks of her hsuband who is tall dark and handsome which can- nont be present because he is on a tour with his jazz band. We were told Lois Bunger was in town an hour early, but she has been keeping herself occupied. Lois has the news she is now engaged not only with one but two men, she has yet to decide which one to marry. Up walks Terri (Bunger) Schenk and close behind is Dennis, after recovering from their 10th Anniversary celebration. Terri is still waiting for the time she can give Mr. Fisher a piece of her mind. Scott Johnson now walks up looking over the rim of his glasses. With his foxy wife who is unbumed from helping Scott on the farm. Here comes Deb Kelso shaking her pocket full of tips from the terminal. Her hoeful to be blonde hus- band soon follows, after parking the rabbit. Up drives Cindy Bunger with a new car because her pinto was not able to handle all those Saturday night ditcher. Cindy is still employed at the mission abut since the cost of gas is so high she has decided to move to Holdrege. Toby Casper called to let us know him and his wife are not able to make the trip because they are on their Honeymoon in Hawaii, but will try to make the next one. Arriving next is Jaci Graul at a very high speed, she has been trying to dodge the cop who has been tail- ing her since Deshler. Jaci is now a happily married woman with two children. Arriving in his private jet is Kelly Loch who is now a famous Chemist. Kelly has persuaded his petite blonde wife to name their large family after the planets. Finally to arrive late as usual is Laura Black. Laura is now married and lives on a farm. When they are not taking care of their pigs or ' 'small'' family they still be found on Saturday nights spinning tired be- hind the rifle range.
