I, Kim Anders, will my ability to climb In the dryer at the laundromat in pajamas to the Juniors, provided they can get two people In with them and it is 6:00 in the morning. I, Crale Bauer, will my ability to slam dunk the basketball to Joel Panter, providing that he grows a few inches. I, Kevin Benson, will my ability to quit basketball and have fun at state tournaments to Brian Rahmann, provided he has more fun than I did. I, Alan Bunger, will my ability to break eggs and dishes in Home Ec. to whoever can break more than I did, provid- ing you get along with Ronell. I, Cheryl Bunger, will my ability to become a member of the 24 hour club at state tournaments to any of the Soph- omores, providing they can stay awake 48 hours. I, Ron Covey, will my great strength and quickness to Chad Koch, providing he doesn't hurt himself. I, Mike Dallmann, will my ability to quit basketball to Mike Bertrand, providing he goes out. I, Judy DeJonge, will my ability to go to Alco and play with the toys there to Tammy Fritson and Marcia Bertrand, providing they have nothing better to do on a Saturday night. I, Colleen Friz, will my ability to run the cash register at the IGA to Chad Koch, providing he makes as many mis- takes and gets in as much trouble with the manager as I did. I, Marianne Fritz, will my ability to pass beer on the interstate going 55 coming home from state tournaments to anyone who thinks they can pass more cans. I, Bob Greening, will my ability to get along with the Sophomores during Basketball practice to Kelly Loschen. I, Paul Hagelberg, will my ability not to compare to anyone who can keep a straight face while doing so. I, Waldeen Hlnrichs, will my ability to get kicked out of Science to Scott Johnson, providing he doesn't get kicked out the first week of class. I, Todd Jelden, will my ability to get hurt in sports to anybody who thinks they could have more mishaps than I did. I, Jodi Jelkln, will my new Lady Schick shaver to Winkle Bienhoff, provided she uses It before every volleyball game. I, Kathy Johnson, will my ability to go to Taco John's and eat 9 hardshells and a large Coke to anyone who can beat my record without getting sick. I, Paul Metzger, will my ability to miss school to anyone who can come up with as many excuses as I had to. I, Jackie Rahmann, will my ability to sit on the bench during volleyball to Marcia Bertrand, Tammy Fritson, and Marti Metzger, providing that they have the same redhead coach I did. I, Sandy Rahmann, will my ability to go steady with three guys at one time during state tournaments to any under- classman, providing they can remember the names of the guys. I, Barb Rewerts, will my quiet ways to Karen Frerichs, as long as she can keep her mouth shut during a few classes. I, Dale Schmidt, will my ability to make the varsity basketball team to Charles Pollock, provided he doesn't stand on ten Five-gallon buckets to shoot. I, Steve Schmidt, will, but I just haven't got around to It yet. I, Nadine Stuehm, will my ability to think of the Word of the Day to Joel Panter, providing he can think of more words than I did and know the meaning without bothering the office. I, Nathan Wright, will my ability to hit REA poles and stop signs to Mike Bertrand, providing he hits more than I did my Senior year. 11

ecAss worms] It is now 1988 and the senior ciass of 1978 is gathering for its 10 year reunion. It just happens to be State Tournament time and the class meets by the pool at the Lincoln Hilton. First to arrive is Paul Hagelberg. He is now a successful psychologist in Boston. In his spare time he builds computers. Schreechlng to the doors next is Janet Albers, currently the owner of “Crashes Body Shop. Janet Is not married but she says there is still hope. Next to arrive Is Donna Adam. Donna now lives In Franklin where she has her own clothing store for petite sizes. There has been rumors that she Is getting married but she denies them all. Todd Jelden limps In next with his cute little brunette wife beside him. Todd has just recently taken over Uncle Jakes Mor- tuary business and made the announcement today that he would like to give his class a discount on his services. Driving up In his own bus is Crale Bauer. The bus Is full of screaming girls and on the side Is a sign reading The Bauer Boosters . Dr. B. Is playing pro-basketball with the Philadelphia 76ers. He is still single. Next walks In Steve Scmldt. He still lives at home but is thinking about joining the Army In the fall. Barb Rewerts is next to walk in. She still works at the mission. She and Big Al have finally set the date. Waldeen Hinrichs just flew back from Chicago where he controls the hog markets. He left his wife and a litter of children home to do the chores. Kevin and Colleen drive up in his 1970 model Impala that he just had painted and put wheels on. Kevin is chief camera man for ABC. Colleen has a coaching job at UCLA. They found time in their busy schedule to have three dark haired girls. Dale Schmidt drives up next. He finally has his own place, a cattle ranch In Wyoming and he is still scouting around for the right woman. Sandy Rahmann and her husband drive up In a brand new Vega from Washington D.C. Sandy Is a secretary at the Capitol Building. Rumor has ft that she is very good at keeping secrets. Ron Covey drives up In his 1967 GTO which he finally got fixed from the little incident at the dam. Ron currently Invested all his money In a Swineline ownership. He tells us that he is still not ready to settle down. Kathy Johnson drives up In her new van. Kathy has made it in the business world, She is the Midwest Manager of the largest trampoline manufacturers in the world. Kathy has been to busy jumping around the country to get married. Paul Metzger has just returned from RCA Recording Company where his band has just cut a new album. When he is not mak- ing albums, Paul still works at the mission. Next to arrive at the scene is Marianne Fritz. Marianne is now married to a plumber in Red Cloud. She is proud to tell us that she has just set up a special building for the display of her large collection of Budweiser Stickers. Mike Dallmann comes barreling In his faded yellow car. Mike owns a large farm near Macon. As he steps out we see that his dark haired wife and he have a fine crop of eight children. Cheryl Bunger comes in next. She tells us that she hasn't found a job yet but she's trying to fit one into her busy schdule. We also find out that she has just moved to Axtell because it saves on gas. Springing in next is Kim Anders In her dancing tights. She tells us that she has just finished a show on Broadway. She has a class ring from someone but whe won't say who. Driving up in his new 1988 GMC four-wheel drive pickup is Alan Bunger, followed by his long haired wife. She tells us that she hasn't forgiven him yet. After going to Tech. Alan became an engineer for U.S. Steel Corp. Walking in barefoot as usual is Judy DeJonge. We discover that Judy has also moved to Axtell. Judy and her husband have recently opened a branch office of Swineline Buildings in Axtell. Her husband is a little upset with her because she just ran into a brown pickup. Next to arrive is Jackie and Bob. Bob is now the host of American Sportsman which traveling all over the U.S. Jackie says It is hard to keep up the flower shop In Hildreth, but the two kids and Grandpa help out. Jodi Jelkln and her husband arrive next. Jodi Is now the author of Gross Stories which are published in Nude magazines In Colorado year round. Jodi and her husband are starting a large family to follow tradition. Nathan Wright comes running in next. He tells us his old blue car ran into a pole and he had to run the last five miles. We find out that Nathan has been living in California with his brother. And just as the program begins in walks Nadine Stuehm, late as always, following behind is eight short four eyed boys all of them carrying Kansas City Pennants. Nadine tells us that her husband is In Kearney for a league bowling tournament. Nadine is a successful psyclatrist. It's time for the Class D Championship game and everyone is going to the Sports Complex to see Hildreth and Polk battle it out again. The class all agrees that it has been a successful ten years.
