DAVID SCOTT BLACK The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with but whether it's the same problem you had last year. BRENDA LEA BUNGER People can not change truth, but truth can change people! ROBERT EDWARD BURNS Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else. 2 TANDRA KAY CASPER It takes less time to do a thing right then to explain why you did it wrong. STEVEN LESLIE DALLMANN The man who sows seeds of kindness enjoys a perpetual harvest. DEBORAH SUE FRERICHS What you are is God's gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God. JAYNE LEA JELKIN It is better to listen, and say nothing, than to speak, and say nothing. 3 JACQUIE LAREE PANTER Nature has given us two ears, but unfortunately only one mouth. TIMOTHY DAVID RAHMANN When angry count four; when very angry, swear. The seasons are changing and so are we. We're starting to tell our childhood goodbye. We're not the children we used to be. In some ways we're different entirely. It's a little sad to see children play, to think we will never again be that way. Perhaps it is the future we fear, fear of losing something of the past that is very dear. Unlike loved ones, time we cannot hold; we pass by a mirror and realize it has made us old. It's just that the minutes, hours, and days go by so fast and happy times of the present soon become the past. Yes, it seems just like yesterday that we were small, then suddenly years come upon us and it doesn't seem like time at all. Trying so hard to keep up with today, memories of good times fading away. Growing up is hard to do when you want to enjoy life's moments whiph are so few. We might always be children at heart and from that will be much harder to part. The seasons are changing and so are we and we must begin to tell our childhood goodbye. . . eJCASS WJjCjC JANE ADAM, will my broom to Laura Black provided that she flies to Halsey on it next year. I DAVID BLACK, will my ability to be short to Alan Bunger, provided that he grows a few inches before next basketball season. I, BOB BURNS, will my shoulder pads to Arnold Freddy Fenderbender Horshack, provided he can lift them over his head to get them on. I, TANDRA CASPER, will my ability to sneak taco's into the Pizza Hut to anyone provided that they eat them in the bathroom. I, TIM RAHMANN, will my basketball time and ability to play SWAT at State Tournaments to Mike Kiker. To the staff members we will oir determination and enthusiasm. To the Juniors we will hard work and fun times. To the Sophmores we will our sex appeal. To the Freshmen we will our place in lunch line. ecass PKOPMsey Ten years have passed since the bicentennial class of 1976 has passed through the doors of H.H.S. Now in 1986 the class is reuniting to re-live some memories and see what kind of life everyone is leading. JANE ADAM is first to arrive with her steady boyfriend, Lew, in his 1986 LeMans. She is now employed as a shrink at the Franklin Mental Health Clinic. Jane has just finished her $100,000 mansion ten miles south of Hildreth where Lew and her plan to live if Lew ever pops the question. Puttin in on his new 1986 John Deere lawn mower is STEVE DALLMANN. He is now head accountant of the Hildreth Branch of H R Block. Being an accountant keeps Steve pretty busy, but in his spare time he enjoys mowing the city cemetaries. Whipping around the corner of Shepard and Nelson in her blue mustang comes BRENDA BUNGER. We see that Bren- da is still her same fun-loving self, always talking about the good times in Macon where she now makes her home. Brenda makes it through the door just in time to shut out a large Saint Bernard which lets us know that JACQUIE PANTER is not far behind. Jacquie is presently employed at the Colorado Springs Zoo where she takes care of the lions. In her spare time she helps her husband do carpentry work. Sprinting in with a mouth full of brownies comes DAVID BLACK. David is still trying to run the 880 under 2:10 which he never accomplished in high school and still hasn't. David is still an eligible bachelor and spends most of his time farming. Driving up in her blue vega comes DEB FRERICHS. Deb spends most of her time reading people's problems and an- swering them in her Dear Frerichs colomn. She seems to be giving Abby a run for her money. In her spare time Deb flys to Hollywood to try and pick up some pointers from Rona Barett. Rodding down the street in his brown vega comes TIM RAHMANN. Tim is the president of the Hilton Hotel in Lin- coln. His short temper shows when people play S.W.A.T. on the hotel doors. He is still a confirmed bachelor and in his spare time he loves to tinker with cars. Screeching to a sudden stop comes TANDRA CASPER. She has just been hired as a secretary at Gateway Realty where she plans to pick up some pointers from her sister. Tandra is still looking for some eligible bachelor to spend her spare time with. We see now that after driving past the schoolhouse several times BOB BURNS has finally decided to stop. He has taken over his dad's garage and work's at the rec hall on weekend's. You can still find Bob patroling the streets of Hildreth at night while he watches out for walking trees. Skidding around the corner on two wheels comes JAYNE JELKIN, late as always. Jayne now has her degree in spec- ial-education and is employed in Kearney. Jayne's excuse for being late was that she had a blow-out on her way down from Kearney. It looks as though everyone is alive and healthy in 1986. Written by Jacquie and Deb. 7 FACULTY supeKJwzemewz MR. STANTON B. SMITH SC MOOC BOMB LEFT TO RIGHT: Larry Hinrichs (Pres.)
