One blue sky above us, one ocean touching all our shores, one earth so clean and round, who could ask for more. And because we are friends, let's give it one more try, to show our rainbow face, it's too soon to die. Some folks wanna be an ostrich and bury their heads in the sand, some hope their plastic dreams will unclench their greedy hands Some wanna take the easy way, Poisons, Bombs, they think we need 'em don't they know violence just doesn't bring freedom Life is an experience we need to experience it We are not poets, we are in the poem we are not singers, we are in the song Every note's an answer, every word's a sign Every man's a dancer, keeping his own time we found a tearful language to translate what we are, and we cried so hard, but let's not ever cry again For we have one blue sky above us one ocean touching all our shores one earth so clean and round, who could ask for more?
