Senior C (aS6 It all started a few months ago when Mr. Douglas Meitzner and Mr. John Schwartz happened to meet in a hotel lobby in Omaha, where they both were staying. They eventually began to reminisce about their high school days in good old H.H.S. They decided it would be fun to have a class reunion. So here we are on Mav 22, 1971, arriving at the new H.H.S. building. Douglas Meitzner flew here in his family helicopter. Three little boys tumbled out after him, followed by his pretty wife. We soon discovered that Doug was vice-president of the Omaha State Bank. Bonneta Rahmann, now the wife of a successful dairy farmer arrived in the latest type of transportation, the air-car, with her two little girls. Unfortunately, her husband was unable to attend because of a dairyman’ s conference being held in Wisconsin. Next, Shirley Hinrichs drove up with her husband, who at the present time, is serving as minister of a Lutheran church in New Jersey. She told us she met him while she was attending Wartburg College in Iowa. Marlene Hinrichs arrived, in a 1964 Plymouth, with her husband, who is coaching at a high school in Western Nebraska. They brought their two sets of twins with them. John Schwartz flew into Kearney by jet and drove up in a rented car. He is the coach of the famous basketball team, the Schwartztrotters. He said he has been to busy traveling with his basketball team to marry, as of yet. Harold Hansen flew in, in his flying farmer airplane. He told us about his large radio controlled farm near Ragan. His wife could not attend because all six of their children had come down with the measles. f ropli ropnecy Senior I, Harold Hansen, will my ability to chew gum, without the teachers knowing, to Denny Mietzner. (Hope you have better luck than I did, Denny.) I, Bonneta Rahmann, will my giggle to anyone who wants to have as much fun as I did. I, Douglas Mietzner, will ray pickup to General Motors. (See if you can figure it out G. M.) I, Shirley Hinrichs, will ray good natured ways to anyone who doesn't think I am good natured. I, John Schwartz, will ray ability to confuse teachers to Gerald Fruhling. (Who, by the way, has a pretty good start the way it is.) I, Marlene Hinrichs, will ray ability to keep up with the boys in an argument to the freshman girls. (Enough said) —16—
