Everyone was conversing and having a wonderful time when an awful roaring and screeching sound overcame the sounds of the conversation. Everyone ran to the door to find only Larry driving up in his new Dodge convertible. Larry, as you all know, started his career in the field of denistry. Larry practiced on his wife, Rosy, but evidentally she didn't approve of being toothless, so she left him. Now Larry has turned his interest to a more exciting field. He is now in Hollywood running the Dodge Tax Service . Larry feels there is more advantages there. Karen arrived next. As you probably know, she is now a successful home economics teacher. She graduated from KSTC in 1958. She is not married and never will be I guess, the men can't stand her cooking. Karen seems to be en- joying herself though, she is still full of fun and spirit. She said she felt just as young as the day she graduated from dear Ol' H. H. S. By the way, Karen is not teaching in an ordinary school; no, she has a job with the U. S. Government. Cooking for the army, she is stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. She is trying to teach new and better ways of cooking. The government officials at Washington D. C. are trying to figure out a way of getting the boys going back to fighting in- stead of spending all their hours on KP duty. When Beth arrived she drove up in her bright Cadillac convertible with gold plated wheels and a fur lined top. She is living in Austin, Texas and is now mar- ried to an oil tycoon, but he was unable to come because they were drilling six more wells and he had to stay home and take care of them. By the way Beth has two sets of triplets, one of the sets are 8 years old and the others are 6 years of age. All six of them are attending an academy. The first thing Beth said when she came in is Hi, you all . Sounds just like her, doesn't it? By the way, before Beth left she gave us all fifty dollar bills. She said this was the payment for putting up with her those last two years in H. H. S. Dean, being late as usual, was only forty minutes late. Dean is a very busy man nowadays; he doesn't have time for marriage. He is practicing law and is in the undertaking business on the side. His excuse for being late this time was a logical reason as he just couldn't walk out of the courtroom, and following the trial he had another body to take care of. Dean is awfully concerned in his work as we heard nothing but the prices of his line of caskets that were shown in the wholesale catalog that he carried with him the full day. After spending an enjoyable and unforgettable day, we decided to meet again in 1974 at the same place. After making farewells and saying good-bye to every- one, the crowd broke away with memories never to be forgotten. 18
