Sadie Qets Elected 3-Art Rural Comedy Presented by the Senior Class CAST Willie Smith- Sally Turner- Mrs. Gray---- Si 1 as Tate- Chet Griswold Sadie Lane--- Lem Brown---- Zeke Turner— Lawrence Lippstreu -------Eunice Adam --Mary Jane Hansen ---Denzel Frericns -Lawrence Fruhling -----Caroline Adam -------Dale Bunger -Gerald Westerbuhr This play concerned the expected arrival of a new editor, as old Ed Selby nad been forced by Zeke, the town boss, to sell out. Every- one expected a man and the town reception committee was all set to receive him. They were all wrong; for she was a woman, keen and very much alive. Zeke began ms bull- ragging tactics, but hits a snage. Sakie insisted on rVinning the paper to suit herself and called a spade a spade. Two important comedy characters were Willie and Sally, two left-over employees of the paper. Silas, who was writing a story and had just had the vi Ilian cnase the heroine into the river got a good hand. Lem Brown who was the present mayor, and sweet little Mrs. Gray completed the cast.
