Sports News The Hildreth Greyhounds, winners of twenty-one out of twenty-two games in the 1950-1951 basketball season, had six returning lettermen from last year's cnampionship club. They were Gerald Westerbuhr, Lawrence Lippstreu, Denzel Frerichs, Donald Hemje, Wayne Schurman, and Larry Westerbuhr. Tney added another trophy to the case by winning the Franklin County Tournament for the ninth consecutive year. Naponee was the victim in the finals, (thirty-nine-thirty-three). Hildreth's only loss of the season was to St. Cecelia by a score of (Fifty-one-Forty- seven). Highlights of the season were Hildreth’s triumph over Franklin for the ninth consecutive year, their victory over Blue Hill whicn kept the win streak perfect for the tenth straight year on the home floor, and the winning of the Franklin County Tournament.
