J orewon HILDRETH HIGH.......school of staunch, unswerving idealism....school rooms where brave dreams have been born...worn desks that contain in their woody hearts the secrets of years gone by....a faculty ever reflecting the same spirit of service, the same purpose....students bound together by a common interest, a common love, a common song........basketball games and cokes and puppy love and jitterbuggin’, and “the gang” ....laughter and tears and happiness and heartache....memories and dreams and ideals and far- reaching visions. Now it is time for us, the Seniors to say good-bye to dear, carefree school days, and start out on the road, with its hills, curves and detours, the road called Life. We must do away with childish things and shoulder the burdens of a war-mad world....may God help us! So it is that we, the Seniors of 1950-1951, proudly, but with tears in our eyes and regret in our hearts, present this annual to Hildreth High in the hope that it may serve as a lasting remembrance and a symbol of days and deeds that will live forever in our hearts.
