 ews The Hildreth High Basketball team started out with six letter men, they are: Merlin Rocker, Dallas Einspahr, Rodney Bunger, Melvin Jelkin, Lee Fritson, Gerald Westerbuhr. There were five new players who lettered this year, they are: Lawrence Lippstrew, Wayne Schurman, Denzel Frerichs Larry Westerbuhr, Donald Hemje. Hildreth High had 15 scheduled games this year winning 13 and losing 2, they were to Brady (39-41) and to Friend (32-40). Hildreth won the County Tourney by defeating Franklin in the finals for the eighth consecutive year (53-34).
