Dedi e a lion Throughout the years, teachers have come and gone, but one who has remained for many years is Miss Beatrice Drew. Because of her services to us since 1945, we wish to dedicate the 1960 Hisodak to her. This year Miss Drew taught English I, Eng- lish n, English IV, and Spanish I. She received her B. A. degree at USD in Vermillion, South Dakota. Her graduate work was done at USD in Vermillion, South Dakota, U of I, Iowa City, Iowa, and SDSC in Brookings, South Dakota. Her major is English and her minors are speech and foreign languages. During the fall season, she is often busy with Homecoming activities. In the winter, she can be found busily correcting papers for her many students, or helping someone with his English problems. As spring approaches, she energe- tically prepares the seniors for their last schooldays—helping with Skip Day, Baccalau- reate, and Commencement. And so to you, Miss Drew, we dedicate the 1960 Hisodak. May it bring you wonderful memories of the 1959-1960 school year.
