Playing in a very tough conference with three A schools, the Pirates came out with a good record for the season; winning four conference games and losing three. The Pirates took runner-up honors in their own invitational tournament, but lost both games in the conference tourney. Prospects for next year are very hopeful with five returning lettermen. Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossilbe to be silent. --Victor Hugo Vocal music is another of Highmore High School's outstanding activities. A mixed chorus of one-hund- red-four voices has added its harmony to many functions and contests during the past year, as has the seventy-vice member girls' glee club. 38 Mixed Chorus HOW 4: ROW 3: ROW 2: ROW 1: Larry Kiel, John Wooley, Orville Charlson, Roger Kiel, Robert Gadd.
