. A K I Executive Council gets student body involved The executive council was made up of the leaders of school clubs and organizations. The four ASB officers for the year were Shawn Wattles, presidentg Bill Breakey, vice-president: Terry Chenaur, secretary, and Steve Hel- man, treasurer. The main purposes of the council were to plan major student events and to discuss school issues. The council members kept the students involved and accomplished a great deal in the planning of dances to raise student body funds and in arranging various assemblies. ' g Y............. The voice of the student body This year Mr. Reimer decided to involve the represen- tative assembly more directly in decisions affecting the student body. The assembly was informed of coming events and was encouraged to vote on some issues. Bill Breakey, ASB vice-president, conducted the meet- ings every third Tuesday. The 40 members debated is- sues pertaining to school events. The minutes of each meeting were printed up and sent to each teacher on the following day for reports by room representatives: thus, the students were kept informed. This year the representative assembly was an effective way to communicate with the whole student body. TOP: Bill Breakey, Kim Runciman, Kristy Curtin, and Tara Bell.
