The lilo:-riA C1116 The Morris Original Bough and Beady Intelligent Students Was organized on October 19, 1945. 0 Our mascot was The Wolf, a drawing of a man in a zoot suit with a wolt's head. 0 The purpose of this club was to familiarize members with parliamentary pro- cedure. 0 Ada Lee Carver was our pin-up girl and Billy Melton was our pin-up boy. 0 We met every Friday during fifth period in Boom llO. Oral book reports, parties and games made up the programs. 0 Officers for the year were Earl Carver, Presidentg Virginia Neggie Pack, Vice President, Ada Lee Carver, Secre- tary, and Billy Melton, Treasurer. Monogram C1416 ln order to aid and advance athletics in our school, we formed a club this year which We called the Monogram Club. 0 The require- ments for membership are that the boy has to have won a letter, played a certain amount of time in games, have the spirit of a true gentleman, have good graces, be on good terms with his teachers, and on the very best of terms with his fellow students. 0 The boys who were picked to organize this club were old ballplayers and new members must pass the above requirements. They must also pass the approval of the members. 0 With this organization we can bring together all the various teams and players which form the entire athletic activities of our school. 0 The officers of this club are: Robert Needham, Presidentg William Needham, Vice Presi- dentg Robert Lanier, Secretary and Treasurer.
