The following officers were elected: Mary Alice Reyes, President: Carlton Mitchell, Vice President, Mary Ellen Michaux, Secretary: and Courtney Purvis, Treasurer. The club consisted oi nineteen members and met every Friday during fifth period. lts purpose was to learn more about France and her customs. We selected La Marseillaisef' the French National Anthem, as our song, and perhaps you were near enough lOl to hear our Voices raised in Allons enfants de la patrie.
