The glee C7116 The Glee Club has been functioning since lanuary under the leadership ot Mr. Perkins. Very much was accomplished this year. We were in the Christmas Play, helped the Beta Club, and We had the Thanksgiving program. We sang at a Methodist Church at Highland Springs. O S. was sent out at the tirst ot the year tor willing workers for the Hi-Times statt. By the time it was answered, it seemed that we had gotten a late start in the year, but we were still ready, willing, and able. We set to work to try to keep the school up-to- date on the news and gossip. We started out with a staff, most ot whom were inexperienced, but now nearly all know the funda- mentals ot newspaper work, and we are expecting great things from them next year. 0 Mrs. Gayle, our sponsor, helped us through a year that would have been more ditticult it it had not been tor her understanding ot our problems.
