Many hours have been profitably spent in the last semester in studying and manipu- lating this kit. A year ago last fall Wings was or- ganized, after a campaign for members, with Mr. Brownlow Hopper as adviser. club was placed under the supervision of Carl Dorsey, head of the vocational depart- ment,.who is its present leader. Participants in the tivities of Wings are gathered 'from thibie most interested in aviation. N . . Among the many entertaining events blanned for its members was a trip to the Ford airport at the time of the air derby. It was a thrilling experience for all who went, especially for two of the members who were privileged to participate in a short flight in one of the planes used in the derby.
