The senior class engages in many activities, oome have the purpose of raising money for senior scholar- ships. One of the most important activities, initiated in 1961, is Senior Work Day, a day when the seniors do household jobs for those in the neighborhood, and donate the money they earn to the class. This year on October 19, after a day of hard work, the class spon- sored a picnic at Sunset Park. Raking leaves was only ono of the many jobs we undertook. After our tasks were finished, Mr. Floyd, class adviser, provided entertainment for the picnic. 26
